The pigeons in Trafalgar Square are telling their own story! In 'Please Do Not Feed The Ladies (They Are A Health Hazard And a Nuisance)', one particular pigeon, Clarissa, perches on the Fourth Plinth in the Square, to tell her feathered cohorts the story of why the Plinth has always remained empty, ever since it was built. Combining a call-and-response fairy tale from the Plinth to the Square below, with a very extraordinary 'tea table' installation on the North Balcony of Trafalgar Square, this site-specific performance invited the public to consider the Square in its many different aspects - as a space for the public adoration of establishment figures, but also as a space for protest and dissension.
